Penned by Ronda Rousey, edited by Axel Alonso, AWA Chief Creative Officer and former Editor-in-Chief at Marvel, with art by Eisner and Ringo Award-winning comic book artist Mike Deodato, Jr. (Avengers, Not All Robots, The Flash), the graphic novel draws on Rousey’s incredible career in the ring and pairs it with Deodato’s martial arts background to create the most accurate and action-packed fight scenes in comics!

Ronda’s past as a WWE and UFC champ is showcased in the book, with the action scenes being choreographed and filmed by Ronda for martial artist Mike Deodato to then draw onto the page — she will prioritize questions about the graphic novel but will also make time to answer questions about her past in the WWE and UFC.

Our amazing graphic designer, Chris Ferguson, is working on the movie homage prints now — he works on all AWA book designs and our homage variant covers our fans love in comic book shops. These prints will be added for FREE for any backer in a bundle tier or above!
These movie homage prints will feature Ronda’s original character MOM and will come from one of the many movie references Ronda wrote into the story — she’s a huge action movie lover and readers will get to enjoy a lot of these references and easter eggs throughout the graphic novel.

This wild adventure all started at SDCC and now it continues into our 2nd week of the campaign — you all are going to love this book and all the updates we have during the next 3 weeks of the campaign.
